The CCES provide Counselling and Career Guidance to Secondary Education students and young people. School Counsellors provide individual or/and group counselling, tailored around students’ needs, regarding personal and educational matters. Counselling offers support to the students to identify and develop their skills; through this procedure, students are empowered to reach informed decisions.
Career Guidance Counselling focuses on students’ educational options and their careers, according to the students’ needs.
Additionally, where appropriate, psychometric tests can be administered to students in order to help them identify their interests, abilities and study fields of interest.
During the Educational Fair, School Counselors will provide information and guidance on
- the elective subjects offered by the Lyceum and the Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training,
- the Pancyprian exams
- the entry requirements for Universities in Cyprus and Greece and any other information required related to career and professions.
